• What support is provided to students arriving on international flights?

  When travel arrangements have been made for your student, please share that information with the dean's office at deansoffice@episcopalhighschool.org. If your student is traveling as an unaccompanied minor, the School will ensure that an adult meets your student at the airport. Please be sure to alert the school of your travel plans well in advance, and reference our Unaccompanied Minor Travel Policy in the Parent Portal. Your student should have the ADO number stored in their cell phone so they can contact the School in case there are any travel or customs delays. The number is +1 703-402-6696. • Are students allowed to remain on campus during holidays and breaks?

  Students are required to leave campus for Thanksgiving, Winter, and spring breaks. They are allowed to remain on campus for the Mid-Winter and Easter/Passover Long Weekends. Parents and families are responsible for making arrangements for their children when the campus is closed. If your student is not returning home when campus is closed and you need help with arrangements, you can contact International Students Coordinator Tran Kim-Senior to be connected with some resources for alternative break arrangements. 

• What support is provided for international students with regard to college testing (ACT, SAT, Subject Tests, etc.)?

  Please contact the College Counseling Office. The counselors will work with you and your student to identify which resources and test preparation programs are most appropriate for the student.

• Is there an opportunity for students to go to international food markets?

  Yes. The Student Activities Office regularly offers trips to international markets, including Eastern Market and Union Market in Washington, D.C., the Vietnamese Market in Falls Church, and H Mart in Annandale. If students are unable to leave campus, grocery deliveries are encouraged.

• How do students get to denomination or language specific houses of worship off campus?
