At the heart of the 2018 Strategic Plan for Episcopal High School is the School's mission: “to prepare young people to become discerning individuals with the intellectual and moral courage to lead principled lives of leadership and service to others.”
Launching a new strategic plan for an institution fast approaching its third century is no feat to be taken lightly or to be rushed. Over the course of two years and building from a foundation of work with our incredible Trustees, we invited input from hundreds of our extended community of faculty, staff, students, and parents. We also sought feedback from thousands of our alumni and friends in the hopes of better understanding the many expectations for Episcopal High School now and in the years ahead. We could not be more pleased with the energy, enthusiasm, and support so many connected to us have for this truly special place.
This strategic plan
available here (Screen Version, Print: Overview PDF; Comprehensive PDF) breaks down our ambitious expectations of where Episcopal can and needs to be in the near future. We seek to provide learning opportunities for our students that are engaging, relevant, impossible to replicate, and uniquely powerful. The plan is designed to take our approach to academic excellence and the development of ethical leadership to new heights.
I am so grateful to everyone in our extended school family — yesterday, today, and tomorrow — in making Episcopal High School an invaluable institution on the national educational stage.
