We appreciate your interest in Episcopal High School. EHS welcomes hundreds of applicants from across the world every year. The current student body hails from 31 states and 17 different countries, and this diversity of experience and backgrounds is an important part of what makes Episcopal an amazing place to learn and grow.
While we welcome applications from students from all over the world, we do not have an English as a Second Language (ESL) program. All applicants must demonstrate a strong command of the English language verified by our standardized testing requirement.
Applicants for whom English is not their first language are required to take the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL IBT, TOEFL IBT Home Edition, TOEFL Essentials, MyBest scores), the International English Language Testing System (IELTS), or the Duolingo English Test. Episcopal's school code for the TOEFL is 8144. TOEFL/Duolingo/IELTS may be waived for applicants who, for the past three years, have attended a school where English is the primary language of instruction.
