Wendy comes to EHS from Sacred Hearts Schools in Atherton, Calif., where she served as Director of Community Life PK-8, Dean of Students PK-8, Director of Women's Lacrosse and head coach of the girls' varsity lacrosse team. Before moving to California, Wendy had a very successful career in Baltimore, Md., where she served as the Director of Athletics and lacrosse coach at Bryn Mawr School after coaching at Roland Park Country School for several years.
Wendy began her career in education after graduating from the University of Delaware with a degree in Physical and Health Education and where she played lacrosse. She later earned her M.S. in Community Health Education at Towson University. Throughout her career she has been praised for her commitment and dedication to her students and players and for her focus on strength of community. She was awarded the Blair D. Stambaugh Award at Bryn Mawr as the faculty member who has contributed most to the overall welfare and well-being of the school community. Wendy was also a three-time head coach of the World Champion US Women’s Under 19 National Lacrosse Team.
