Young Republicans Club Meets Nikki Haley
Members of Episcopal’s Young Republicans Club (YRC) were able to catch the former governor of South Carolina Nikki Haley before the Virginia primary in March. Adrienne Taylor-Wilson, director of dance and faculty advisor to the YRC, asked if the students could meet with Haley backstage, and her team kindly obliged, making the evening even more exciting for students.
“As a young adult navigating the complexities of our nation’s political landscape, being immersed in such an environment was truly enlightening,” said Meade Cogswell ’25. “From the passionate speech delivered by the nominee and the spirited audience, the event was a powerful reminder for the club members and me on the importance of active participation in political processes.”
