Schuyler Jordan Williams ’00 excelled as an accomplished athlete and dedicated student leader across multiple sports and school activities at The High School. She played varsity lacrosse all four years, serving as co-captain her senior year. Her exceptional performance on the field earned her several awards, including All-ISL, Honorable Mention All-Met, Honorable Mention All-America, and team MVP. In recognition of her athletic prowess and leadership, Schuyler received the prestigious James H. Fannon Jr. Family Award for Athletic Worth following her senior year. She continued her lacrosse career at the University of Virginia, where she played for one year and earned a spot on the ACC Academic Honor Roll in 2000-01.
In addition to lacrosse, Williams demonstrated her versatility and commitment to athletics by participating in several other sports. She played JV basketball as a freshman and advanced to varsity as a sophomore. She was a key player on the varsity field hockey team during her sophomore, junior, and senior seasons, and she ran varsity track her junior and senior years. Williams earned an impressive 10 varsity letters: four in lacrosse, three in field hockey, one in basketball, and two in winter track.
Beyond her athletic achievements, Williams actively participated in a wide range of extracurricular activities and leadership roles. She was a cheerleader, monitor, and an active member of the E-Club. Her well-rounded accomplishments in athletics and extracurricular activities highlight her leadership, dedication, and passion for the School and its community.
