Biography:
At Episcopal, Hannah teaches levels 1 - 4 of German (regular and honors) as well as AP German. She also leads the biennial Austrian exchange program with our partner school in Vienna. In addition, she assists with the winter musical, does dorm duty, and lives on campus. Hannah also grew up on campus with her family from 1993–2006, when her dad, Jim Ellington, led the theater program.
After graduating from Episcopal in 2003, Hannah received her degree in vocal performance and German from Birmingham-Southern College and spent 12 years as a professional opera singer in Europe and the U.S. Before returning to Episcopal, she taught German in Fauquier County Public Schools. She is currently working on a Masters in German from Middlebury College.
