Biography:
John arrived at Episcopal High School in the summer of 2024 after 28 years working in independent schools. John began his time as an educator working as a mathematics teacher and over the years took on a variety of administrative positions to include Dean of Students and Director of Technology. He spent most of his years working at Heathwood Hall Episcopal School in Columbia, S.C. and has worked in other high schools in South Carolina and Florida. While he has been in school leadership for many years, it is his experience in and passion for the classroom that guides his work.

John serves as the Director of Technology where he works with a dedicated team to build and support a dynamic digital ecosystem to support the teaching and learning of Episcopal High School while also providing a robust environment for the residential life and operational work of the School. Together with the academic leadership and faculty, John and the Technology Team strive to thoughtfully and intentionally enhance the teaching and learning experience with new possibilities that technology makes available to the students and faculty.
