Biography:
Mimi graduated from The Westminster Schools in Atlanta, where she was a member of the Cum Laude Society and the Honor Committee, as well as captain of the cross country team. She earned her bachelor’s degree in mathematics, with a concentration in education, from Davidson College and received the William D. Vinson Mathematics Award, presented by the mathematics faculty to the best math student in the class. While at Davidson, Mimi served as a math tutor and was hired to research texts and develop curriculum to launch a new course that integrates mathematics into the solution of real-world problems.

Prior to joining the EHS faculty, she spent a summer as a teaching assistant at Andover in Massachusetts, teaching precalculus and trigonometry and serving as a faculty advisor and dorm counselor. She also studied at the Klingenstein Summer Institute, a program for early career teachers through Columbia University. In the spring of 2013, she earned her master’s in education from the University of Virginia.
At Episcopal, Mimi teaches mathematics and serves on the McCain-Ravenel Center leadership team.
