Biography:Kristin is a licensed clinical social worker with over 20 years of experience in adolescent mental health, including schools and private practice. Her approach to counseling involves a variety of interventions meant to empower, strengthen, and foster resilience.
After earning her psychology degree from Georgetown University and completing a post-graduate volunteer year in Portland, OR, she spent two years teaching U.S. history and psychology at the high school level. She earned her master’s in social work from Boston College. She spent a year at the Stone Center at Wellesley College, focusing on clinical training in relational theory, women’s development, and diversity and multicultural awareness. Before joining the EHS community, Kristin was a personal and college counselor at Georgetown Visitation Preparatory School in Washington, D.C.
At EHS, Kristin facilitates proactive wellness programs to support healthy choices and collaborates with the Student Assistance Team.
