Biography:A graduate of Washington and Lee University with a degree in chemistry, Steve came to Episcopal to teach math and science, coach, and live on campus as a dorm supervisor. Years of working at a residential summer camp led Steve to choose teaching at a boarding school as his profession.
Following a sabbatical in the 21-22 school year, during which he examined environmental sustainability in schools, Steve expanded his role to include serving as Episcopal’s sustainability coordinator. In addition to this role, Steve teaches physics and is the head wrestling coach. During his tenure as wrestling coach, Episcopal wrestling teams have earned 9 team trophies at the state tournament, including two 2nd place finishes. Over this same period, Episcopal wrestlers have earned 34 league championships and reached the state finals 32 times.
