C. Bodhi Amos

Biography:
Bodhi has been teaching French for more than 25 years, and also has experience in a wide variety of subjects that include English, mathematics, and technology. Bodhi is married to Lisa and they live in Liggett hall with their two cats, Pooba and Muffet. 

Before Episcopal, he taught French at his alma mater, Groton School, where he also coached football and lacrosse and served as a dormitory head. He earned his bachelor’s degree in English from Williams College, where he played varsity football and lacrosse and received the Williams College Purple Key Award for Outstanding Male Athlete.

In the mid-1990s, Bodhi both played and coached for Les Météores, a professional American football team in France. He studied at La Sorbonne in Paris before earning his master’s degree in French language and civilization from New York University.

At Episcopal, Bodhi teaches French, coaches varsity football and is a member of the Hummel Dorm team.
