In January, poet Hilary King read from her new collection, “Stitched On Me,” in March Library. The Daemon-sponsored event attracted roughly 70 students and faculty members, with King answering questions about her writing process and her career thus far. King is the younger sister of English teacher Tim Rogers ’79 and was happy to be back on the campus she had last seen years ago as “a little girl visiting her big brother.” She will continue her book tour next in Richmond, and was “so impressed with the smarts” and the receptiveness of the audience: “This was easily the best crowd I’ve had so far!”
